Have no fear! Right on queue the early 90s brands are getting a revival. We were thinking about building a ROM cabinet for Defiant HQ (the studio in the garage). And remembered that the best arcade games usually had custom controls. Guns you hold, boards you ride and all kinds of extended screens. Space Harrier had an elevated rotating machine, Disks of Tron had a roller/flight stick and 720' Skate or Die had a long rotating joystick. Luckily the latter has an entire website on how to restore the parts: http://www.720zone.com/ I spent hours playing these games in the arcade. I loved my T&C Surf shirts, Maui & Sons shorts and checkered Airwalk shoes. For a California kid in the 1980s there was a neon bright vibe that was nothing short of radical. Everything was dialed up to maximum intense attitude. The dudes were cool. The chicks were hot. And we liked it that way. That brings us to the Nike SB Dunk Low tribute to an arcade menu screen. The classic game 720' Skate or Die was a quarter muncher and nearly impossible to beat. They sell online for almost as much as a retro arcade cabinet.
