Charlie Docherty, a Northern California artist and musician, introduces a series of international artwork. The exhibit documents over a decade of travels in original gouache drawings. He left his home country of Scotland in 1964 and visited over 100 countries. This series of art panels reimagines the art and cultures of the places he visited. The art follows his hitch hiking adventures along the hippy trail through the middle east into Laos, Cambodia, over to Japan and eventual arrival in North America.
